Beverly Matujal is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. She began her foray into songwriting when she was 11 and has been writing ever since. Influenced by the stylings of female songwriters in the 70s, her unique and clear, angelic voice has captivated audiences alike. Whether it's the Penang Island Jazz Festival, Borneo Rhythm of Rimba (RoR) Festival, or more exclusive private events like the Sabah Tourism Awards and the Shell Malaysia Safety Awards, people can't help but be amazed by the sheer talent that comes from this pint-sized Sabahan lass.

'Echoes', Beverly's debut five-track EP, was released in August 2017 to favourable reviews and a song from the EP ('Compass'), was even shortlisted as a semi-finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) out of thousands of applicants.

Her most recent single, 'If I Fall in Love' was released in October 2018 and now boasts over 80K stream count on Spotify, with listeners from South East Asia all the way to Europe. In February 2019, Beverly was awarded the 'Best Overall Malaysian Female Act' for the VIMA Music Awards

Beverly is currently based in Kuala Lumpur and as of late, working on her first full-length album slated for release in 2019.
